New Stash

My stash arrived, lovingly lugged all the way from Washington! Even when he wasn’t here for a good part of the summer, a girl can still rely on her main GBFF. We thought it would be light, “It’s like a pillow case full, not heavy!” But it turned out to be quite heavy (maybe 5kg?). I missed him and I’m so glad he’s back!

Yarn is so expensive in Singapore and the above stash of Caron Simply Soft and Sugar’n Cream Yarns came to about SGD$94. It would otherwise cost me around SGD$10/ skein.

Looks like, I am going to be busy.

    Hello! I’m from Singapore. I love Lily’s Sugar & Cream & Caron Simply Soft yarn too! and i can’t find them in sg :( but recently I found this website which ships international. http://www.herrschners.com/ I bought a whole bunch … about 24 skeins of various brands of yarn (including Lily’s, Caron, TLC & Lion Brand) and it came to quite a decent price, approx $4 a skein, including shipping! Just a tip, when you shop there, you have to watch the shipping price because I think they go by the box size. once the box is filled, it will jump to the rate of the next box size which is a lot more expensive. Another site is http://www.yarn.com/ … different brands but good price too. Just thought i should share! :) :)
